A Frank Idea focuses in his work on cultural history, architecture and art.
Firstly because Frank finds this interesting himself, and secondly because he finds that Rovaniemi and Lapland is rich in cultural and historical attractions, but that many of these attractions seem to go unnoticed to many international visitors in Rovaniemi. Frank hopes to change this.
A Frank Idea offers small scale, high quality, tailored, personal and insightful guiding services. A Frank Idea assumes customers are interested in local culture, history and Rovaniemi’s cultural attractions, and approaches you with that idea.
A Frank Idea offers as well consulting services which are inspired by political and social theory, critical approaches to tourism and personal work experiences.

I think these traits characterize me as a person, and I like to express these values in my work as well. As guiding work with a personal touch is defined by the guides own style and preferences, I decided to embrace my characteristics and symbolize them in my company name.
I use idea in my company name because I think that the ideas prevailing practices are as important for working. And, there are all kind of ideas popping up in my head, related to my work, tourism and cultures.
I want to do work that I find interesting myself.
This is an aim – and realistically speaking, not always possible – but I would like to try to do work that I find interesting myself. I do not want to forget why I found something interesting in the first place.
I have decided to use a different aesthetic and a different language than many other tourism companies working in Lapland. I have nothing against other companies in Lapland, and we work together sometimes, I just feel personally more comfortable in a different style of working. Why would I try to do something that others are having much more experience in and are much better at?
